Back by popular demand! An introduction to grant writing, terminology, application formats, funding sources and outcome based evaluation. Application examples that address private, non-profit and public grants seekers are discussed; as well as information on funding for programs and construction. You also have an opportunity to complete a sample grant proposal application. The course is suitable for small business owners seeking federal funding. Instructor, Andy Grobins, B.A. in Public Administration, has worked in the public sector for over twenty-five years in the areas of grant writing, administration and evaluation.

QuickBooks "Hot Topics" Workshop for Small Business Accounting - Rick Yale (1 Saturday)
Be prepared for this year's bookkeeping tasks by using the advanced techniques presented in this all day workshop. You will learn how to analyze financial data, perform payroll functions, banking and credit card reconciliation, tracking and paying sales tax, and much more. Prerequisite: an experienced knowledge of QuickBooks; basic accounting practices; and basic computer skills. Course materials will be provided by the instructor. Instructor, Rick Yale, is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor and serves as both a technical advisor as well as trainer to clients needing accounting software support in their daily business operations.
