Excerpts from our January 31 press release --- "The nonprofit business sector – significant in its size - plays an integral role in the quality of life of south Puget Sound residents, providing much-needed educational, cultural, environmental and health and human service programs."
"It is a commonly accepted fact that the nonprofit business sector needs to better support its emerging leaders by investing in their professional development."
"Recognizing this important need, The Nonprofit Leadership Institute was founded by NonProfit Solutions NW and South Puget Sound Community College in partnership with the Business Resource Center of the Economic Development Council of Thurston County, the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Thurston County, and other nonprofit and corporate sponsors. This program is the first of its kind in the south Puget Sound area."
