  • Still Life Color Kits:

    Still Life Small painting set-up.  Custom made kits(approximately $4.50)

  • Oil Pastel Kit (approximatey $20)

  • Soft Pastel Kit (approximatey $30)
  • Information on purchasing Kits will be given the first night of class.
  • All other supplies will be discussed at the first night of class.
  • Beginning students are welcome to bring any oil or soft pastels you already have.

The teacher will furnish the first subject matter. Many pastel paintings will be completed during this class. If you have questions about the supplies, feel free to contact Dorisjean at (360) 754-1773.

Oil Painting - CE 252

For each class please bring oil paints and brushes, oil painting medium, water jar, small jar for painting medium, and a 3 inch foam craft brush for the gesso. water based Windsor Newton or Grumbacher oils, Windsor Newton water based oil painting medium, and a small assortment of flat and round sable or good quality synthetic brushes are recommended. Bristol board, tracing paper, an 8 x 10 inch x ¼ inch thick Masonite board, gesso, and sandpaper will be provided for preparing the board for painting.

 

 

Introduction to Drawing - CE 302

- a good eraser, preferably the kneaded ones

- 11 x 14 smooth bristol board, which you can get at Michael's

- Photos of something that you would ike to draw ( for advanced students)

- If you have any examples of previous work, please bring it along.

Introduction to Creative Metal and Welding – CE 312

Please bring the following items to the first class:

  • Safety glasses
  • Heavy Work Boots (steel toe recommended, but not required)
  • Old, comfortable, cotton material, work cloths or cover-alls (no polyester clothing)
  • Leather Gloves
  • Pliers and other tools to work on your project.  Your Instructor will make recommendations for additional tools and supplies depending on your project. 
  • You should expect to spend an additional $100 - $200 for personal safety equipment and tools.
